Tight rock and roll band from Scotland, that continues the string of great neo-punk bands started by The Strokes and The Hives, (and a few other bands with 'The' in their band name.) Franz Ferdinand is all the rage amongst rock critics right now, so you have probably already listened to this album. But it just seemed like it needed to be mentioned. I keep getting "The Dark of the Matinee" stuck in my head. Pretty wide range of songs for a punk band.
