I think the Japanese may be the first country to produce a cyborg. A recent article announced that two Japanese firms have developed technology that allow you to transmit data (up to 10Mb/s) through the electrical conductivity of your own body. This allows your toes to talk to your hair, but also allows you to exchange data attached to your body with someone else just by shaking hands. I am almost unable to control my desire to start making geek jokes about 'viruses' and 'uploading really large files', so I will leave that up to you.
